A Sun and Moon Aquamarine Necklace in Oxidized Silver, Built Around One Extraordinary Stone
The Elaya pendant centers on a large natural aquamarine - 32mm long, pale blue-green, with silky internal inclusions that catch the light and give the stone its own beautiful depth. Above it sit a natural sunstone and a natural moonstone, framed within an oxidized 925 sterling silver sun and moon composition that brings all three stones together into one celestial silver pendant.
Every Elaya starts as a hand-sculpted wax model made in our workshop. It is then cast in sterling silver and finished by hand, with each surface and detail refined individually before the piece is complete.
We select every aquamarine individually. Inclusions in a stone this size are natural and expected - what we look for is stones where those inclusions are beautiful rather than distracting, adding character rather than taking away from the clarity of the color. The sun and moon pendant comes with a sterling silver chain in lengths from 14 to 24 inches, selectable at checkout. It is also available without a chain if you prefer to use your own.
