Handcrafted Men's Ring: Manly and Inspired by Nature
Vivienne is a men's wedding band in 925 sterling silver, 8mm wide, worked as intertwined branches with one polished band cutting through them.
Both surfaces are the same silver. The branch texture is oxidized, so the recesses go dark and the raised forms stay lighter; the stripe is polished to a mirror and left bright. Nothing is inlaid — the whole effect comes from how the one metal is finished in two different ways.
The width does the rest. 8mm gives the branch work room to be seen without crowding, and puts real weight on the hand.
There is no stone in this band, which for daily wear is a practical decision as much as an aesthetic one: nothing to catch on gloves or ropes, nothing to work loose, nothing to check at the bench years later.
The same design is available in solid 14K gold.
The ring begins as a hand-sculpted wax model in our own workshop, is cast in 925 sterling silver, and finished individually by hand.
