Luna is a moissanite engagement ring in 14K rose gold, built around a 6mm round lab grown moissanite in a multi-claw setting. A sculpted crescent moon sits alongside the stone as part of the composition. Organic branches extend down the band on both sides, giving the ring the character of a botanical piece without following a conventional floral template.
The moissanite is lab grown, 6mm round brilliant. Moissanite has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means it catches and disperses light with more intensity. It holds its clarity over time and carries none of the ethical or cost concerns of mined stones. At 6mm in rose gold, the stone reads as substantial without being heavy - the warm metal tone and the bright colorless flash of the moissanite work well together.
The claw setting keeps the stone open to light from all angles. The crescent moon is positioned alongside the stone, integrated into the setting so that it reads as a single sculptural form with the claws and the branch detail below.

Each Luna ring is handcrafted in our BlackTreeLab workshop. The process begins with hand-sculpted wax modeling, followed by casting into solid 14K rose gold and detailed hand finishing. This traditional technique allows us to preserve the organic curves of the branch band and the precise silhouette of the crescent moon setting.
14K gold is chosen as a balance between beauty, durability, and long-term wearability. Unlike plated or lower-quality alloys, solid gold does not oxidize or darken over time. It is resistant to humidity, temperature changes, and everyday exposure, while being stronger and more scratch-resistant than higher karat golds. This makes 14K gold an ideal metal for jewelry meant to be worn daily.
