Witchy Owl Necklace with Moonstone Full Moon - Nocturnal Silver Medallion Pendant
Owl Moon is a circular medallion pendant, 3cm in diameter, depicting a single nocturnal scene: an owl perched on a branch, enclosed by a ring of branches, with an 8mm rainbow moonstone positioned as the full moon in the composition. This is not a stone in a setting - the moonstone is the moon, and the owl is watching it.
The owl is sculpted with full feather detail, visible eyes, and gripping talons - the kind of detail that makes this piece work as owl jewelry rather than just a bird motif. At 3cm it reads as a nocturnal silhouette from a distance and rewards closer inspection. The encircling branches complete the frame, giving Owl Moon the structure of a silver medallion pendant rather than a conventional stone setting.
The moonstone is hand-selected for blue flash and clarity. Natural inclusions are present in every stone - at 8mm the stone has enough depth for them to be visible, and we select for stones where they contribute to the quality rather than detract from it. The piece starts as a hand-sculpted wax model in our Bali workshop. Owl, branches, and moon setting are all carved together in wax, then cast in 925 sterling silver and individually finished by hand. The oxidized patina settles into the feather texture and the spaces between the branches, sharpening the contrast across the entire composition.
