Each Soma ring is handcrafted in the BlacktreeLab workshop using traditional wax carving techniques. The design is first sculpted by hand in wax, where every petal and curve is individually formed. The wax model is then cast into solid 14K yellow gold and finished manually to preserve organic textures and fine floral details.
14K gold is chosen as the ideal balance between strength, wearability, and beauty. Solid gold does not oxidize or darken over time and remains stable in humid environments and daily conditions. Compared to higher karat alloys, 14K gold offers greater resistance to scratches and deformation, making Soma suitable for everyday wear and long-term use.
