Moonstone Engagement Ring "Primrose"

Primrose: Two Tone Silver & Gold Flower Engagement Ring
Primrose is a nature inspired engagement ring built around three elements: a 6mm rainbow moonstone at the centre, a rose in solid 14K gold on each side of it, and a 925 sterling silver band shaped as a branch.
The band carries bark texture along its length, with small silver leaves growing from the surface rather than engraved into it. The roses are cast separately in solid gold and joined by hand — this is not gold plating, and it will not wear off. The difference between the two metals is the point of the design: warm gold against cool silver, with the moonstone between them.
The moonstone is 6mm round, hand-selected for the strength of its blue flash and for clarity. The flash moves as the light angle changes, which is what makes the stone worth looking at up close. Natural inclusions are part of the material and no two stones repeat.
The oxidized detailing is worked into the recesses of the bark and around the leaves, deepening the botanical structure while the raised silver keeps its brightness.
Mixed metal jewelry takes longer to make than a single metal does, and the gold here is solid rather than applied. That is the cost, and it is also why the ring holds up over decades rather than years.
Moonstone is the birthstone for June and carries long association with intuition and renewal. Primrose suits an engagement, an anniversary, or a gift to yourself.
Each ring begins as a hand-sculpted wax model in our own workshop, is cast in 925 sterling silver, and finished individually by hand.
